Easter is approaching, and…..
I have and always will LOVE Easter! B.C. it was I knew about Christ, but it was more about the marshmallow and peanut butter eggs for me. My grandmother who was a lover of Jesus made the best homemade Peanut Butter eggs in the world. Unfortunately, I did not get her recipe before she went home to be with the Lord. Well., Easter is approaching, and….
Now I have hope of a new life and a new way and to be honest without it, I would be dead or in a gutter waiting to die. The weird thing is that this upcoming 15th of April, it will be the five year going-home anniversary of our 16 year old daughter Megan. She died on Easter Sunday morning on 2001, thank God she was a believer, and thank YOU Jesus for what happened on that day; for now I have a hope in seeing her and hearing her great laugh again one day!
I share this with the City so that you would just drop a word of prayer for our family. So, Easter is approaching, and…., we are truly blessed beyond measure and yet it will be a sad day.
